Agrometeorological Requirements of Maize Crop Phenology for Sustainable Cropping—A Historical Review for Romania

Identifying regional variations and agronomical records can turn into a function of magnitude timing for sustainable maize production. The crop characteristics are directly related with the temperature precipitation from growing season. Therefore, main aim this study was to highlight requirements most suggestive Romania. A literature search performed based on keywords both agrometeorological requirements. After evaluation phenology’s principal stages, some inconsistencies were identified. These leaf development stage fruit stage, where minimum interval overlaps optimum. wide variety assessments also made, taking account mainly monthly number growth stages assessed differed greatly one source another. degree days has been incoherently expressed calculated, these details must be taken developing further models. results regarding phenology propose setting up comparable at (PannEx area) global scale. This review will help develop new climate projections in Romania change context through project Agroclim.
